Web App Userflow

CoinBook's dashboard is designed with three distinct sections: a left-aligned action menu, filter dropdowns aligned to the top of the page, and a list of user-submitted listings below. To maintain consistency and ensure that all UI elements remain visible at all times, it was decided early on that all pages in CoinBook would be subscreens of the dashboard. However, given the complexity of the design, scoping out this UI as a userflow was necessary to ensure usability and a positive user experience.

Web App Wireframing

CoinBook is a digital platform that allows users to exchange cryptocurrencies with each other. The design of the platform needed to provide an intuitive interface that enables users to search for, purchase, and create listings easily. To achieve this, I incorporated a left-aligned control module that acts as a centralized hub for all trading interactions among users, simplifying the user experience and making the platform more user-friendly.

Web App Final Design

The decision to use a dark mode theme as the color palette for the site influenced the visual language used throughout the design. However, during this phase, several issues surfaced, particularly in the form of edge cases involving the interaction between users' crypto wallets and their actions on the site. Collaborating closely with the developers helped us to address and resolve these issues, ensuring a smoother and more seamless user experience.

What is your experience.

I first got my degree in Digital Design with an emphasis in Web Design at Grand Canyon University. While getting my degree. I worked at a social media startup where I designed the company site, digital social media stickers, and pitched potential app features. Currently, I work at a crypto company pioneering new WEB3 powered sites. During my time here, I have designed crypto exchange platforms, NFT utility sites, and crypto browser games.
